movies black actors
Is it necessary to really put a black actor in any TV or Movies in USA?

I seem to observe that when a movie without a black actor/actress creates complaints from these group but I see movies of black people without even 1 white actors and they never complain.Even TV shows like My wife and kids ,maybe even Bill Cosby show has no white actor.

excuse me BLACK actors have it very hard in getting a movie role.Hollywood is raciest. How come WHEN A BLACK ACTOR wins a oscar or other type of award its all over the news in magazines etc. When a white actor wins its not all in the media.Black people have come a long way to make it to the top.So yes they are going to complain because its always that white people get to play black people roles and black people cant play white people roles.Halle Berry is the only african-american to win an oscar for best actress and yes i think we do need more actors in movies and in television

Paul Robeson - Here I Stand

Paul Robeson – Here I Stand

$7.88

If Paul Robeson (1898-1976) is remembered at all these days, it’s most likely as the booming baritone on the definitive version of “Ol’ Man River.” But Robeson, as this serious, nearly two-hour 1999 documentary makes plain, was a great deal more than that. A world-renowned singer and actor, athlete, orator, activist, socialist, and patriot, he was most likely the most famous black man in the …

While it may not qualify as a masterpiece of silent cinema, La Revue des Revues offers a priceless time-capsule smorgasbord of Parisian nightlife circa 1927. With her “backfield in motion”…

Silent Shakespeare is a compendium of some of the earliest productions of the Bard ever to be committed to film. The enthusiasm for the new medium shows in the often-spirited performances of the act…

When one considers the repertoire — eight songs from movies. including the theme from The Magnificent Seven and the Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” — this recording may not seem to have much potential. But actually, the set list includes four well-known standards (including “That Old Black Magic” and “Falling In Love Again”), and all of the music is transformed into creative and consistently exciting jazz. Trumpeter/flugelhornist Franco Ambrosetti is the lead voice, but gives plenty of solo space to his illustrious sidemen (guitarist John Scofield, pianist Geri Allen, bassist Michael Formanek, drummer Daniel Humair and percussionist Jerry Gonzalez), and the performances are generally quite memorable. Recommended. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music GuidePerformers: Franco Ambrosetti – Flugelhorn, Trumpet; Geri Allen – Piano, Synthesizer; Michael Formanek – Bass; Jerry Gonzalez – Percussion; Daniel Humair – Drums; John Scofield – Guitar
