If you live close to an Ikea, check there – they sell many things cheaper and better designed than Wal-mart or even Target.
Also, if you are doing lots of shopping at BB&B, remember to use the 20% off coupon. I get one in my sunday paper every week, and most people I know get them in the mail as well. With all of the things you have listed, you could save $90.
Another thing you could do is create your own wall art. You can go to an art store and buy a blank canvas and some paints and do an abstract art piece – or you could even cover it with patterned fabric if you aren’t into painting. Or be your own photographer – take some photos of your friends, family, pets, or favorite things around town, get a few prints at Walgreens and put them in a big frame with a thick mat. You will have original and unique art that is much cheaper than what you can buy in the store.
