dvd quality streaming movies
Would this make the video quality bad…?

on netflix you can watch movies directly on ur computer without waiting for the DVD, you just stream the movie. and i dont wanna wait for the DVD so im just gonna stream it on the laptop and connect the laptop to my tv so i can just watch it on the tv. would the quality of the movie be bad on my TV if i do this?

depends on your computer, ram, mostly your video card and speed of your internet and compared to a regular dvd player then i would say it would hurt the signal

Convert Vhs Home Movies to DVD

Convert Vhs Home Movies to DVD

$3.29

Do have a ton of VHS tapes that are collecting dust? Are you worried that your memories are going to disolve as the years pile on to the quality of your tapes? Using a step-by-step approach, this book focuses on how the average home user can convert their existing home movies to a digital medium. This book seeks the ease of use appeal of the DVD/VCR by applying it to the typical home computer, and to allow you to not think twice about using your computer to extend the capabilities of your DVD. It recognizes the distinction between a computer as a consumer product versus the ease of use of a typical home appliance, such as a VCR or DVD player, and tries to bridge that gap. Put simply, the goal of the book, then, is on the newly-created DVD: the computer is only the mechanism at which to arrive at this goal. It assists you in conducting an inventory of your existing hardware (Does your computer have a DVD burner? What video editing software might already be included on your computer?), and serves as a guide to your purchase of any required equipment (external conversion device, external DVD burner, etc.). This book skillfully guides you from the beginning step to the final step of bringing your VHS memories into the digital age-knowledge that is going to become more and more crucial as DVDs become the average-home norm.

Midnight Movies

Midnight Movies

$15.16

Startling, provocative, and often unsettling, midnight movies have left an indelible mark on American cinema. Beginning in the 1970s, these late-night cult events offered films that were unlike anything else glimpsed on movie screens. Among the offbeat hits are some of cinema’s most unique works. This fascinating documentary explores six midnight movies and their impact: John Water’s trashy classic PINK FLAMINGOS; David Lynch’s surreal take on fatherhood, ERASERHEAD; cinema’s preeminent transvestite musical, ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW; Alejandro Jodorowsky’s otherworldly Western, EL TOPO; the reggae-cum-gangster film THE HARDER THEY COME; and George Romero’s genre-defining zombiefest, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. Packed with film clips and interviews with critics and the filmmakers themselves, MIDNIGHT MOVIES shows how these nocturnal showings offered audiences entry into cinematic worlds which were distinct from typical Hollywood fare, but later seeped into mainstream film culture.
